Always very light in color, it has the characteristic of practically never crystallizing, so it always has a liquid and syrupy consistency.
Its aroma is flowery and delicate, and its flavor is rather sweet but delicate, so it lends itself well to cold preparations because it does not cover the other flavors.
The most common combination of truffle honey is with cheeses, both fresh (such as caciotta, ricotta and goat cheese) and seasoned (like pecorino, asiago, fontina, Montasio, sweet gorgonzola).
